Hypnotherapy

With so many of us now leading busy and stressful lives; emotional problems, loss of confidence and negative thinking can affect our ability to perform effectively, whether at work or home.   Hypnotherapy can help find ways to counter these negative emotions or entrenched behaviours.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful, strategic therapy aimed at treating emotional problems as well as a wide range of conditions or habits such as smoking, weight loss etc.   You stay in control at all times, even whilst in a ‘trance-like’ state.  Professional, clinical hypnotherapy is respectful and nothing like stage hypnotism.  There are no negative side effects, in fact an additional positive side effect is a greater feeling of relaxation.

Most of us experience a trance during normal daily life eg. whilst simply staring out of a window.  Hypnotherapy is a pleasant and relaxing experience whereby a person in a trance state can be guided by imaginative use of metaphors and suggestions which will help them change their unwanted behaviour or help them overcome issues which affect their health, their life and their happiness.  Obviously, there can be difficult issues to tackle, problems to confront etc. so it requires commitment and determination.
